Silsbee Public Library at 295 North 4th Street, Silsbee, Texas.

After coming in here for the past five years I finally feel a need to write a review. I wish I could give this wonderful library five stars, but I can't. It was once a wonderful library. Recently a new director took over, I believe her name is Crystal Mallett, and a new woman began working there. They are wonderful, occasionally they seem tired or stressed, but that is understandable. The library seems clean usually, except the women's restroom can become quite disgusting. All this said this is not why I wanted to write a review, the reason is Debra Vick. She has been working there for quite some time I do believe. She is never at her desk, always on her phone or gabbing with her friends, and never EVER smiles. It seems like if she isn't about to go to lunch or run to the restroom she is hiding. Every time I walk in she has an excuse to leave the desk. I know I don't smell that bad! I'm just tired of how rude she is. If her rudeness persists I will be making sure to come in when she is NOT there or cease to use Silsbee library at all.
